Asian American Scholar Forum (AASF) congratulates AASF Fellow Professor H.-S. Philip Wong on his election to the National Academy of Engineering (NAE). This recognition reflects not only Professor Wong’s exceptional professional accomplishments but also the growing and historic contributions of Asian American scholars in advancing engineering, technology, and innovation in the United States.

Professor Wong is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and a leader within the Stanford SystemX Alliance. He is widely recognized for his pioneering contributions to nanoscale electronics, semiconductor technology, and next-generation integrated circuits, advancing the foundations of modern computing and innovation.
Founded in 1964, the National Academy of Engineering is one of the highest professional honors accorded to an engineer. Election to the NAE recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to engineering research, practice, or education, including significant advancements in technology and innovation that strengthen the nation’s economic and scientific leadership.
