Headshot - Chelsea HuThe Asian American Scholar Forum (AASF) is proud to welcome Chelsea Hu, a rising sophomore at Harvard University studying Economics and Statistics, as our 2025 summer intern through the Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership (CAPAL) Public Service Internship Program. AASF is honored to partner with CAPAL’s premier leadership development program that places undergraduate and graduate students in public service roles across the country.

“I’m excited to intern at AASF because it aligns perfectly with my academic interests and personal values,” said Hu. “Interning at AASF is a meaningful opportunity to combine my interests in data science and research to raise appreciation and awareness for Asian American communities.” After graduation, she wants her work in research, data, and collaboration to contribute to projects that have a tangible impact on communities around the world.

“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with CAPAL to support the next generation of public service leaders,” said Gisela Perez Kusakawa, Executive Director of AASF. “Chelsea’s deep commitment to using data for social good and her passion for uplifting Asian American voices are exactly the values we seek to foster at AASF. We look forward to working with her this summer.”
